WhiteFire Printing Terms of Service


  1. On Jobs of $100 or more we require half the total payment after proof approval.   We will not accept a job without proofing, or upfront payment. 
  2. We will not begin a job until the proof approval form has been returned with a date and signature (fax, email, scan or mail ok).
  3. Some binding jobs require blank pages to be added.  This is necessary.  If you have a problem with these pages, it must be addressed before proof approval.
  4. All problems with a book must be addressed before proof approval.  Once a proof has been approved and production has started the customer is responsible for full payment.   No refunds will be given after production.
  5. Proofs.  We will send a physical proof to the customer.  The proof is free unless either: the proof is not approved for reasons other than defects in workmanship or the cost of the proof would exceed 10% of the total order.  Customers not qualifying for a free proof are only pay 50% of the cost of the proof.  IE. If a $50 book is part of  an order fewer than 10 of these books (less than $500) the customer is charged $25 for the book.
  6. We accept payment by check, Credit Card (via PayPal), and Purchase Order (under some circumstances.   Please email or call with inquiries about POs).
  7. Orders under $100 are charged shipping.
  8. Quotes given before we receive the materials (digital or hardcopy) to be printed/bound are subject to change depending on the job.  We will inform the customer in the event that the actual price differs from the amount quoted. 
  9. Time.  The customer will receive with the quote an expected delivery time (the number of days after proof approval before which product delivery is expected).   Faster shipping is available at the expense of the customer.  We do not offer faster production times in order to ensure product quality. 
  10. We will attempt to repair all defects in workmanship, however the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
  11. We do not accept returns or give refunds on custom work.
  12. Contracts.  Jobs under $100 require payment on delivery (if paying by check it must be mailed within 2 business days of the receipt of merchandise. If paying by credit card or paypal payments must be made within 48 hours of the receipt of the paypal email invoice.)  Jobs up to $5000 require a proof approval signature or their endorsement (as per number 2 above).  Proof approval constitutes a binding contract between WhiteFire and its customer to agree to these terms and those listed in the proof approval.  Jobs over $5000 require a written contract signed along with proof approval by the customer before production will begin.
